How we handle your personal data.

1. Who is responsible

Kelunio is the controller of personal data processed through the website. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights under the GDPR and similar laws.

2. Data we collect

Account data: email address, display name and login details. Listing data: provider name, services, area, languages, prices, photos and certificates you upload. Communication data: messages, bookings, agreements, reviews and reports. Technical data: device and browser information, approximate location derived from what you search for, and logs needed for security. Push data: the browser subscription you choose to enable.

3. Why we use it

To provide the marketplace and your account (contract); to keep the service safe, prevent fraud and moderate content (legitimate interest); to send notifications you enable (consent); to show advertising and measure it where you have consented (consent); and to meet legal obligations.

4. Who can see your data

Listings and approved reviews are public. Private messages are visible only to the two participants and, for safety and moderation, to our staff. We use processors for hosting, database, storage, email, maps and push delivery. We do not sell personal data.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense to show advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. Where required, personalised ads are only shown after you consent; otherwise non-personalised ads may be shown. Learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep account data while your account exists. Messages and agreements are kept while the account exists so both parties keep their records. Logs and security records are kept for a limited time. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data, object to or restrict processing and withdraw consent at any time. Export and deletion are available in your account settings. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and database rules that limit who can read each record. No system is completely secure, so keep your password safe and tell us about any misuse.

10. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always available on this page.
